Product Care And Installation
- Protect against direct solar radiation; be sure to cover the entire area to avoid character change.
- Turn off floor heat prior to applying protection.
- Ensure all areas are dry prior to laying.
- Once the product is applied, it cannot endure pressure of more than 220 lbs for more than 24 hours.
- For various site conditions, a test should be done prior to applying to confirm the surface is cured.
- Wait at least 72 hours after the final coat has been applied before covering.
- Do not use on surfaces that have been treated with any solvent-based products before they have been properly cured.
- Not recommended on cement or concrete surfaces.
- Recommended room temperature 50°F – 77°F.
- Allowable room humidity 50% – 60%.
- Should be laid down with a 4” overlap on each side.
- Lift protection periodically and reapply.
- Prepare the surface, making sure it is free of dust and debris.
- Roll out to the desired size and cut with a utility knife/scissors away from the surface.
- Smooth out over the surface, applying pressure with hands.
- When removing the product, if there is any residue/glue on the surface, use a neutral pH soap with warm water to remove it.
